TIPS AND AFTERCARE FOR YOUR PPF

DRYING PERIOD

Avoid Washing: Do not wash your car for the first 7 days after the PPF installation to allow the adhesive to fully cure.

STAIN AND CONTAMINANT REMOVAL

  • 1- Tree Sap and Bird Droppings: Remove these as soon as possible to prevent staining. Use a PPF-safe cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth.

  • 2- Tar and Road Grime: Use a PPF-safe tar remover following the manufacturer's instructions.

WASHING YOUR CAR

  • 1- Regular Washing: Wash your car regularly to prevent dirt and contaminants from building up on the film.

  • 2- Hand Wash: Use a gentle hand wash method with a pH-neutral car shampoo.

  • 3- Avoid High-Pressure Washers: If using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle at least 3 feet away and avoid directing the spray at the film edges.

  • 4- Use Soft Cloths: Utilize microfiber cloths or wash mitts to clean the surface gently.
  • DRYING

  • 1- Blot Dry: After washing, blot the surface dry with a clean microfiber towel rather than wiping to avoid scratches.

  • 2- Air Dry: Where possible, allow the car to air dry in a shaded area.
  • WAXING AND POLISHING

  • 1- PPF-Safe Products: Use waxes and polishes that are specifically formulated for use on PPF. Avoid abrasive compounds.

  • 2- Hand Application: Apply wax or polish by hand using a soft applicator pad. Avoid machine polishers that may generate excessive heat.
